Day 1: Beng Mealea – Koh Ker
- Your two-day experience begins and ends in Siem Reap. Depart after breakfast at 7:00 a.m. and drive Northeast to Beng Mealea. Enjoy an introduction to Buddhism, meditation and Q&A upon arrival. Tour the overgrown ruins of Beng Mealea forest temple and experience a serene walking meditation around the site. After lunch, we will depart for East Phnom Kulen water temple. Our journey will take us up the stairs to the water temple, where we will make offerings, bathe in the holy pool, and join a sitting meditation. Depart for Koh Ker pyramid temple for sunset. On the way, we will share a fascinating discussion on Buddhism, meditation, as well as Q&A and a light snack. After sunset, we will check in at the guesthouse in time for dinner and some light meditation practice before bed.
Day 2: Koh Ker
- We will depart the guesthouse early to catch sunrise at the pyramid temple, followed by a meditation session, and breakfast back at the guesthouse. After breakfast, we will return to Koh Ker and tour the site for the morning. Lunch will be at the temples, followed by additional site tours and a walking meditation. We will return to Siem Reap in evening with a final discussion on Buddhism, meditation and Q&A along the way.
