Kep is a fantastic area to glimpse Cambodian coastal life and relax while taking in the history of the area. We’ll visit several ancient temples on our way to Kep, including Ta Prohm, Yeay Peau and Prasat Neang Kmao. From Takeo, we’ll take a boat to Phnom Da temple, a pre-Angkorian laterite tower, and Asram Maharoseil, a unique Indian-style sandstone temple. From there, we’ll head to the beautiful Kep area, once a favorite holiday spot for Cambodia’s French-influenced elite. On the second day, we’ll discover the pristine scenery of Rabbit Island and head to Kampot, a quiet town with colonial architecture. We’ll end the day with a boat ride on the unspoiled Kamchay River. Our final day offers a morning of leisure as you relax in Kep and enjoy the seaside views and beautiful beaches.
